Cooking and Mandolines
I just got a mandoline. For those of you who don't know what a mandoline is, it's a french slicer. It's supposed to be the greatest thing for cooking since apple pie. ;o) I've been wanting one for a very long time and Williams Sonoma just put a very nice stainless steel one on sale, so I got one at the Mall tonight. Now I just need some stuff to slice and dice. *vbg*

Omg, I love my mandoline - I miss it terribly sitting downstairs all lonely in a box :( Helps to make awesome au gratin potatoes and is nice for fennel salads :) Enjoy!
