Julia, where do you find the site meter? That sounds like a good idea. It's just hard to know if anyone is even interested enough to visit when there's no comments.
Thanks Andrea. Guess I was just feeling a bit lonely last night. :)
I use Site Meter (there's a link from my blog). I just go to their page and I can see all kinds of stuff about where people are coming from. Town, state, country and what page they came in from. Someone in Moscow got to my page by googling julia ass, which is more than a little freaky.
You can flip a switch on site meter so that your views of your blog don't show up.

I read it every day. I don't always comment, though. I just posted a thing on my blog about this - there should be a Kilroy Was Here tag for bloggers.
I put a site meter on my blog. It's kind of cool - you can see where people are from and how long they spent on your site.
I read it too...it's one of the blogs I frequent most everyday. SO keep posting, k? :)

Mother! I read your blog! I've even been posting thank you very much! :)
I got my counter from easycounter.com. You get code from them then add it into the template.
I read too...even though I don't comment very often. I like hearing about life back home in P-burg.
Ok, I got a counter, but how do I know if it's just me looking at my page?
